Our story begins with a shared vision to do dairy differently. What started as a family-rooted venture, driven by a passion for quality and purpose, began by meeting a clear need abroad. Initially specialising in Skim Milk Powder exports, we set out to fill a gap in the market – delivering dependable, high quality dairy ingredients from Australia to where they were needed most.

As demand grew and our purpose deepened, we found ourselves focusing closer to home. Operating from Victoria, we began building strong, lasting relationships with local farmers and partners. These collaborations allowed us to supply fresh milk to local businesses that provide Australians with everyday dairy essentials, such as Skim Milk Powder and a variety of Cheeses.

At the time, the Australian dairy industry was undergoing significant change. There was a growing appetite for premium, traceable, and responsibly sourced dairy ingredients – yet we saw competitors struggle to meet these expectations while maintaining both quality and care. We saw an opportunity to do more than just supply dairy, we saw a chance to lead with purpose.

So, we set out to build something new, something proudly Australian.

In 2020, Frestine was officially born in the heart of Victoria’s dairy country – where rolling green hills, clean water, and fresh air create the perfect conditions for exceptional farming. From day one, we partnered directly with a small group of trusted local farms many of them being family-run operations that had worked the land for generations. Together, we built a model that prioritised integrity, sustainability, and long-term relationships over cutting corners and quick wins.

Our consistent quality and transparent practices earned the trust of clients across Australia and Asia. Today, Frestine is a trusted supplier of milk powders, and other high-quality dairy ingredients to markets around the world – and while we’ve grown, our values remain just as they were from the very beginning.
